2. Website hosting

This website is delivered through Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit, the hosting infrastructure processes technically necessary data including your IP address, request time, requested URL, and browser and device information. This supports reliable, secure delivery and troubleshooting. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Processing may take place outside the European Economic Area. Details of Vercel’s data processing and safeguards are provided in its privacy policy and Data Processing Addendum.

3. Language preference

At the root address, we check your preferred browser language. When you switch language manually, only the value “de” or “en” is saved under “meterra-language” in your browser’s local storage. It is used solely to retain your language choice, not for advertising, and remains until you clear this website’s data.

4. Contact by email

The enquiry assistant processes your entries only in your browser to create an email draft. It does not send an enquiry to a server. We receive your information only when you send the message from your own email app. We use it to respond and, where applicable, prepare a business relationship. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other communications.

We retain correspondence only for as long as needed for its purpose or required by statutory retention duties. Please do not include sensitive resident data or complete billing documents in an initial enquiry.

5. No analytics or advertising trackers

This website does not include analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and images are served with the website. No embedded video, map or social-media widgets trigger additional third-party requests.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Any consent can be withdrawn for the future. You may also complain to a data protection authority, including the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision.
